Simple Solace was born out of both loss and hope. Life doesn’t always move in straight lines — sometimes it shatters or slows, sometimes it transforms and grows. Through my own journey of resilience, I came to believe that the spaces where we gather, create, and share stories can be powerful forces for healing, and the more we understand ourselves, the greater the impact.

I trained in psychology and occupational therapy, with years of experience working alongside children, families, and people navigating trauma and transition. Beyond the clinical world, I’ve lived through my own turning points: pursuing education, losing someone I loved deeply, facing setbacks, wrestling with fear, burnout, and anxiety and rebuilding a life with intention.

These experiences revealed something simple yet profound — healing doesn’t happen alone. It happens in community, in conversation, in guided self-discovery, in creative acts, and in safe spaces where being “deeply human” is enough.

But healing is only part of the story. Purpose comes when we choose to shape meaning from our hardships. Every difficult transition — whether it was starting over in a new place, rethinking my career path, or learning to carry grief — became a stepping stone toward something larger. Simple Solace is built on that truth: that our hardest chapters can guide us toward a purpose we might not have otherwise found.
